I used to design and develop board games and computer games using Unreal, Unity, Processing, Arduino, and so on, but I am not active in this domain anymore. However, these experiences provided me with valuable insights into designing technologies in innovative and creative ways.
The Six Steps of Hand Washing (2018)
I developed an interactive tool to collect gesture data of hand washing procedures using Myo armband with Unreal Engine 4.
The purpose of this tool is to provide a tool for researchers who aims to collect gesture data for manual skills training such as proper hand washing procedures through sensor-based feedback.
Little Rain Fairy (2017)
Little Rain Fairy is a game about a journey of a little rain fairy in harsh environment. This game was developed with Unreal Engine 4.
Heartbeat is a physical prototype whose goal is to have people feel their heart throbbing through the given situations and with the help of a digital system. This system consists of three parts - a semi-circular shaped structure, two buzzers that have 'Go' and 'Quit' buttons, and a computer running a Processing program.
A semi-circular shaped structure is comprised of pulse sensors, seven segments, servo motors, 3D printed half heart shaped box with LED lights inside, and Arduino controlling all the components.
Beyond the City (2015)
Beyond the City is a puzzle platformer game played by three players. The goal of this game is that three characters – a dog, a cat, and a mouse – cooperatively use and modify the given environment to reach their destination. This game was developed with Unity.
Forest War (2015)
Forest War is an educational board game for four players, which aims to teach elementary school students the basic principles of ecology and the spirit of cooperation. The objective of this game is to plant trees using the given resources and to build forests.
